Ms. Nepembe holds Master of Commerce (Financial Economic) from University of Stellenbosch, a Bachelor of Economics from University of Namibia, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from University of South Africa, ACI Dealing Certificate from the Financial Market Association and a Certificate in Impact Investing & Certificate in Climate Finance.
Maano has over 21 years of experience in economic research, financial markets and development finance in Namibia. Her expertise lies in the financial sector, specifically capital markets, climate finance, sustainable development, and research. She spent 8 years at Bank of Namibia as an Economist and Head of Money and Capital Markets in the Financial Markets Department. She is currently a Manager for Research and Product Development at the Development Bank of Namibia (DBN). Her current role involves managing research and product development in finance. She has developed experience and expertise in designing, managing, and tracking the impact of inclusive growth development initiatives targeting different economic sectors.
