Rafael holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from University of the Witwatersrand. He started his career at Rossing Uranium Limited in 2014 where he spent 5 years in various mining operation areas. Rafael is a director and co-founder of KAMA Financial Services (Pty) Ltd, a microlending company that is providing short-term personal loans to permanently employed individuals. Rafael is a Trustee of Easi Trust (a private equity Trust) and he is also a founding member of Namibia Investment Fund (a Namibian angel fund).
